Barlow Review added: 2018.06.21★ ★ ★ ★ ★I am sure that others may have legitimate grievances against this council, however today they were very helpful in the matter of a PCN issued to some Taiwanese tourists who happened to ask me for assistance in the matter. I was only too glad to look into this, as they had paid for parking but forgot to display the ticket. Winchester City Council had people in the parking services that you could actually speak to on the phone, and who were based in the council building. Most councils outsource all this work. They suggested that the tourists go to the council offices to have their parking pay and display ticket photocopied at reception and forwarded to the parking services team. This was done, efficiently and with good grace. Well done to Winchester City Council for making this an easy, not an arduous, undertaking. Barclays Bank in Winchester should ask for some customer service tips from you guys!
